LUMINA at Local Project Art Space, Long Island City, NY.

May 2021

Four person exhibition with Jonathan Sims, Valeria Divinorum, and Dario Mohr.

From the press release:

Lumina interprets the multitude of ways light can be created and utilized by means of projection in dialogue with three-dimensional objects and space. The artists come together to fabricate a unique space of coexisting luminescence, sculptural objects, and projections in conversation with one another. Light is created and manipulated to react upon the artist’s crafted physical object, and simultaneously produces shadows and refractions that are just as important. Hand drawn patterns are projected as moving, colored light onto brick walls. These works speak to the phenomenon of the effect that wavelengths of light can have on the human psyche.
